I'm excited to finally launch something that I first started talking about years ago. As you may know, family photos can tend to be rushed, stressful, and posed. I've fought against that for years. But even in being intentional to create a relaxed session experience that results in candid photos, I still find that it can feel untrue to families' everyday lives. How can we use our time together to document your story through real moments and connection? This has been my desire for weddings for years too. In an industry that can easily turn into recreating Pinterest boards, I wanted the wedding days I documented to be real moments, not fabricated or staged. Well it's time to bring those vibes to my family sessions in an even greater way. I read a quote recently that was directly talking about family sessions, and it has stuck with me:

Over the past year or so, we've fallen in love with the public library. Using the online reservation system is what really did it for me. I've been able to find so many treasures. I've even started a list of favorites. It's kind of become one my favorite hobbies.
