Enjoy: It's my goal to create a space where people can relax, truly connect, and have fun together. I've been told I have a calming, go-with-the-flow personality. I love creating space for meaningful moments and intentional, real images.
Remember: Lots of people can take photos, but I want to document the photos you'll want to remember for a lifetime. I'm looking for both the big and small moments. Sometimes that means stepping back and getting a wider shot to really encapsulate what was happening in the moment. Sometimes it means zooming in to capture the quiet intimacy...all with the goal of telling your story in a timeless way.
Your photos are about your moments, not the other way around.
Just like your love is unique to you, so is your first day of marriage. I want you to enjoy the moments (big and small) as they unfold - and I'll be there to document them when they do.
Friend, weddings are good, but marriage is better and far more important. Your wedding is a day to party and celebrate, but even more than that, it's the day you get to commit yourselves to each other! I love being a part of something so special and sacred.

I'm Bethany and here's what I believe deep down...
Well, hold on, I won't jump straight to the deep stuff (but keep reading, it's coming). I'm a Carolina girl, based out of Raleigh, North Carolina, and the blues and greens of our East Coast mountains have my heart. I've been photographing weddings for 5+ years.
Here's the thing about your first day of marriage...
I believe it's sacred, it's beautiful, and it should be driven by your moments. This is why I like taking a documentary approach to much of your day - your moments as they unfold.
I mix this with subtle + intentional posing (including smiling at the camera photos because I know Mom loves them, and when you're 60, you'll be able to clearly remember how good ya looked).
But ultimately I want you to be soaking in your moments. And when you flip through your wedding album on your one year anniversary and every anniversary after, you'll be able to remember the moments as they were, unobstructed by fabricated Pinterest boards, driven by something deeper than likes on social media. You'll see love. You'll see your closest people having fun. And you'll cherish each other even more than you did on that day.

LAY-FLAT ALBUMS
Beautiful heirloom albums are available so you can tangibly hold your memories in your hand rather than just scroll through them at a link on a device. One of my packages includes the album, but you can always add one onto a different package after your wedding day. When you receive your final gallery, an album is automatically designed for you, but you can easily switch photos and change layouts to make it exactly like you want it. Then your album will be shipped right to your door!
ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS
These sessions are the perfect time to get casual photos together doing something you love. We'll also get to know each other better and hang out in a laid-back way before the wedding day. Engagement sessions are included in or discounted for all my packages (regularly priced $497).
