Family Session Turned Into a Surprise Proposal at Duke Gardens

What a fun day! I had been in communication with Christy for a while about this session, and she kept everything very secret from Savannah who evidently has a tendency to be a little nosy.😉 Christy would call at specific times, delete texts, and do whatever she needed to do to keep Savannah out of the "know." She succeeded, and this family session turned into a surprise proposal! Duke Gardens was beautiful! I was working through the photos yesterday and still obsessing over the pretty spot for the big moment.

Because it was supposed to be a family session, we naturally started with some group shots. Christy also made a point to say that her hubby wanted a photo with her and that she also wanted some of the sisters together and Brad and Savannah together. So we started with the other groupings.

And then it was Brad and Savannah's turn. But all of a sudden, Brad's family (who had been hiding and waiting in a separate parking lot) came walking down the path.

She said yes! And then the celebration began.

Of course we took the opportunity to get some engagement photos!
