Twelve years ago Kinsey and I were sitting in class together making it through our freshman year of high school. So it's been quite a while since we've spent time together like we got to on Saturday evening for her maternity photos. It was great to see her again and meet her husband, Brad. We're both pregnant with little girls which made our time together even better.
After a location change due to quite a bit of rain this week, we ended up meeting at the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh. I like that this location offers so much variety. Kinsey mentioned both "urban" and "boho" to describe their style, and I think we were able to capture both vibes at this location. It looked like overcast was going to be our lighting situation for the evening, but towards the end of our time together, the sun was really showing off. Of course we took advantage of that.
