Almost exactly 7 months ago, I was meeting up with my longtime bff, Jena, and her husband, Reid, for maternity photos. Yesterday we got together for photos of their family of three. I think I enjoyed this session even more than the last. Little William is the sweetest and happiest baby. Jena said he hadn't been smiling much yesterday so I said he was saving them all up for the session. Turns out I was right. This guy smiled SO much for us!
Jena and I even commented on how crazy it would've been had someone told us 10 years ago that'd I'd be taking their family photos. So thankful for these opportunities to document such sweet moments.
You'll notice some real, genuine laughter in these pictures, and there are even bigger smiles in some of the photos I left out (gotta save some for the final gallery)! It's important to me for people I photograph to feel comfortable. I work to create a space where families can honestly interact with each other and connect on camera. It's more enjoyable that way, AND you'll be able to look back on your photos and remember the fun you had together during your session...and hopefully, in 20 years, you'll be able to look back on your photos and remember the fun you had and the love you shared during this season of life.
