Documentary Family Photography at Home in Cary, NC

Updated: 3 days ago

I've had the privilege of working with this family several times now, but this one came with the sweet addition of Baby Meera! Something super special about each of their newborn sessions is that Caroline's dad has painted or designed a unique wall in each of the nurseries. You can see Rishi's wall here. This time around, he designed the intricate and beautiful wallpaper on Meera's wall with meaning - each animal on the wall represents a member of the family.

Documentary Family Photography Packages

Sameer and Caroline took advantage of a sale I ran back in July and booked one of my new portrait packages - The Excerpt, perfect for in-home newborn sessions. We have plenty of time to work around baby's unpredictability (Meera was perfect, but I know we can't always bank on that)! It also allows us time and space to capture more of your family in your most comfortable setting - your home. We can work together to plan what makes sense to document in this season of your life. This family:

  • got some pretty, lightly posed photos in the bedroom and nursery

  • documented normal things like playing outside and being in the kitchen (they even had some fun decorating cookies together)

  • was able to include the in-laws and get photos with grandparents too!
